The Thinklings Podcast – Episode 5 – “Where Mentoring Came From, Part 2”

Welcome to Episode 5 of The Thinklings Podcast!

In this episode, we do our usual things: we discuss some books during Books & Business, we have some nonsense (12:45…cough…), and we continue discussing The Adventures of Telemachus.

For Books & Business, Thinking Stearns discusses How to Read Slowly by James Sire, Thinkling Little discusses The Valley of Vision, and Thinkling Carter discusses Perelandra/The Ransom Trilogy. Perelandra provides wonderful fodder for the crew before we get to the main content of the episode.

The main content focuses a second time on the idea of mentoring. The main idea we discuss is how adversity becomes a means of training and sanctification. Thinkling Little continues this idea in our final meditation on God’s Word focusing on rebuke and instruction in the book of Proverbs. Thanks for listening!
